Please note: A soldier's profile will not appear online immediately after submission. Additional time and resources may be required to add or make changes to the website. However, all soldiers will be included on a first-submitted, first-added basis. Additionally, all information may not appear in the soldier's profile, but may be used in future profile changes as the website continues to develop.
To submit a soldier's profile by mail, please download and print the submission form. Be sure to fill it out completely and mail it to the address listed on the form along with a photo of the soldier to be honored. The Honor Soldier form is a PDF file and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print.

The men and women shared throughout this website have put their lives on the line for our country, our freedom, and our well being. We are excited you have chosen to honor a soldier with us. Your soldier will be proudly displayed for the entire world to see. Thank you for letting your soldier and all the soldiers at Honor Local Troops know how much they mean to us and that we will never take their bravery or sacrifice for granted!
How to Honor a Soldier
There are only a few simple steps required to honor your soldier at Honor Local Troops. Please take a moment to understand these requirements before continuing. You will find many useful tips to help you complete the submission process. The entire process should only take 5 to 10 minutes of your time.
Steps & Tips
STEP 1: Provide Soldier Information
During this step, you will need to provide specific information regarding you soldier. It is important that you have their consent or the authority to publish their information and picture with us. Please understand that we do not require any information that may be deemed a security threat, such as social security numbers, private address, or passwords of any kind.
 If you are not sure what information to provide, consider what information will provide the most honorable soldier profile.
If the soldier was not involved in any engagement or conflict, please select Fulfilled Service Term. All soldiers provide the same bravery and sacrifice whether or not combat is involved.
Dates are entered in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD
Be fun and descriptive with the soldier's biography. Be sure to let the viewer know specific details that are special to your soldier.
STEP 2: Upload Soldier Picture/Photo
We believe a picture says a thousand words. Therefore, we require a picture/photo for each soldier that is honored. We prefer to use pictures/photos of soldiers in their uniform, dress or fatigues. Please follow the tips below to have your photo ready before you begin the submission process.
Please upload a uniformed picture of your soldier. Dress or fatigue uniforms are acceptable.
Please crop or resize your picture before uploading if the file is larger than the maximum allowable size of 5MB. Only < .jpg > images are allowed.
STEP 3: View Soldier Profile
After a short acceptance process, your soldier's profile will be available for viewing.
It usually takes 48 to 72 hours for us to validate data, configure the profile location, and adjust the photo. Please be patient and rest assured that your soldier will be displayed with honor and dignity.
Download, Print, & Mail
If you would prefer to honor a soldier using snail mail, please download the form, print it out, complete the form by answering every question, attach a picture/photo, and mail it to the address on the form. Include a high quality picture/photo. However, understand that pictures/photos will not be returned. Once we receive your submission by mail, the information will complete our acceptance process. This process requires the information to be entered into our systems manually. Therefore, we ask that you are extremely patient and rest assured that your soldier will be displayed with honor and dignity.
